February has nothing but love for pets: celebrate these animal-themed holidays

February is here and it’s time to take inventory of our lives, celebrate love and warm the frost away in time for spring. February is always a busy time so it’s fitting that the month would be overflowing with pet-themed holidays and awareness weeks.

The month of February is dedicated to many furry friends. Not only is it National Pet Dental Health Month but it is also Responsible Pet Owners Month, Responsible Animal Guardian Month and National Prevent a Litter Month. If that’s not enough love for the animal kingdom then wait- there’s more! February is also the ASPCA’s Adopt a Rescued Rabbit Month and the Humane Society of the United States Spay/Neuter Awareness Month.
